Well I only went and did it it is a what WE wore post. Let me give you the back story of this post. When Sebastian was around 4 months old I bought him a bicycle shirt from Monoprix, (the place I buy most of my basics from). Joe then bought himself a shirt from Monoprix that had a motorbike print on it. It took us ages to realise they were in a sense matching, we were tired new parents, that is my excuse and I am sticking with it. We then began to notice that each season Monoprix brought out a version of a design that went across male, female and kiddo ranges.
This spring was a tennis shirt for the men, a tennis scarf for the ladies and a badminton shirt for the kiddos. I am not sure if badminton is in fact the kiddo version of tennis but let’s just run with it okay. We were lucky enough to have a friend with us for a post Sunday brunch photo session, thank you Cindy for capturing our cheesy outfit day. Sometimes you just have to embrace the cheese and be that family in coordinating outfits because life is way to short to take yourself seriously.
Until I moved to Paris I never really embraced accessories but scarves man, I really get scarves now. I cannot say that I am an expert in draping but I have fully embraced them and am eager to learn more about these wondrous swathes of fabric.
Our good friends Mike Territo of Territo Tailoring and his lovely fiancée Kate, (Spoonful Illustrations) sent us the stunning vintage jacket for Sebastian, finding really cool vintage clothing for kiddos is rare for obvious reasons and it is such a gem, thank you both again.
Sometimes you have to unwind after a heavy morning of photographs and brunch with some upside down time.
