Did everyone enjoy their Easter Sunday? Are you board of chocolate yet? Of course you are not it must be impossible to become bored of chocolate. If you have a glut of eggs and would like to re-purpose them then why not create hot chocolate spoons.
All you need is some chocolate and wooden spoons, you can find them here. Melt your chocolate in a bowl over a pan of water, not a microwave, never I microwave. I think that it changes the texture of the chocolate and am not a fan at all. Then all you have to do is layer up the coatings of chocolate on the spoons. You can speed this process up be refrigerating the spoons in between coats.
I used dark chocolate with a top layer of praline chocolate topped with mini marshmallows and sugar crystals placed on top whilst the top layer of chocolate was still liquid. I used bars of chocolate and gave these out as gift, (I saved some for myself also), but you could use left over Easter eggs if you like and really play around with the flavour combinations.
When it comes time to time to make your spoons into hot chocolate simple place the spoon in a mug full of hot milk and keep stirring until it has all melted and you are left with a wonderful rich hot chocolate.
