This year is the first year that I can remember hitting the ground running, no sprinting, no flying. I have such a determination and focus it is quite uncharacteristic. The truth is I often have a tenacious approach to life goals but this year I am not in a panic about reaching my goals I am calm. I have a quiet understanding that those things are happening. The feeling can be likened to the pre-holiday vibes that you get when you have booked your holiday, no you are not poolside yet but you know you will be. This year my goals do not feel like goals they feel like things that are happening with a degree of certainty.
I have wanted to find an outlet for my voice for a long time. My blog has a brand, and a voice of its own and it is not the right place for longer articles, opinion pieces and inspiring interviews. So the Archie & The Rug digital magazine is born. At present I will be producing the magazine quarterly. It is completely free to download, there is a link at the top of the blog. I have also included a recipe and some simple crafts. I have been so overwhelmed by the messages I was getting last night on Instagram after doing the softest of all launches. Messages from people saying they were really enjoying reading it and were already looking forward to the next one.
For so long I have wanted to find an outlet for my voice.
If you have something burning inside you let it out. I was paralysed by fear before I set the magazine to public but I am so happy that I did. This year I have already launched my Le Weekend project and I have been sharing a number of prompts on Instagram of how we can take one minute a day to practice mindfulness. We all have a minute right?
Have you got something that you are wanting to do? What are the things that are holding you back? I would love to hear your thoughts on how you approach goals. In my digital magazine I write about how not to make any resolutions, it is an interesting article. Click on the link and it will be sent straight to you.
