Sunday Crafternoon – Paper Flowers

Spend the afternoon learning to make two paper flowers, an orchid an a rose.
This is a hands on workshop where you will learn practical skills. You will also learn to evaluate suitible paper for any future projects.

We will start the afternoon looking at the materials and being to cut our base shapes.  At 1pm afternoon tea will be served. If the weather permits it will be served outside in the garden.

After food we will assesmble our flowers. Your rose will be left as it is so that you can place it in a vase or display it a different way at home. A basic pot will be provided for your orchid but if you have a particular pot you would like to use please bring it along.

There will be a maximum of four people at this event so please book early to avoid any disapointment.

Description

Please note that this is an IN PERSON class and places are limited due to space restrictions so book early to avoid disappointment.

The class is held in my studio in Todmorden.  An email will be sent with the full address and parking instructions once you have booked. I carry public liabilty insurance. There is a studio puppy who is really soft, but if you have a fear of dogs please let me know and he can spend the day with friends.

Crafternoon tea takes place from 12pm to 4pm

All of the food will be vegetarian.

If you have any additional food requirements or intolerances please do email me and you will be catered for.

  • how to cut and shape paper petals
  • how to create paper and wire flowers
  • turning 2d into 3d
  • giving yourself creative time off to enjoy food
