Well I am buzzing a little. You know when you talk about a thing for ages. Then you fill ALL the notebooks with ideas for the thing you have been talking about for ages. Then you make the thing, edit the thing. Panic about the thing. Re-make the thing. Re-edit the thing. Then put it out into the world.⁠

Well yeah that. I feel all the relief and joy one gets when they finally get that giant poo out that has been making them feel anxious. Apart from the fact that what I have given to the world is not poo it is a podcast that I am actually jolly proud of. If I wasn't shattered I could have come up with a better analogy, one that didn't involve poo.

Well 2 days of birthday celebrations with a small c because well restrictions. 1 birthday meltdown (my own over a cake, I will explain when the pain subsides).

Happy birthday to a wonderful little boy. My second rainbow baby. Such a good caring nature. In a house of big characters you are always and unashamedly Humphrey. You will play anything and everything for laughs. Watching you blossom this past year in tough circumstances, especially for a little guy has been a gift. You are awesome, how the hell are you 4 already

The day of your birthday was a joy but each birthday I feel guilt over the post natal depression that I felt and hope that you never picked up on the fact that I felt I was stuck in time and going through the motions. That time haunts me and I hate to feel that any time I had with you was not this perfect love affair. And the guilt that PND struck with you and not Sebastian.

I have found a way to allow my work stuff to ooze

I have found a way to allow my work stuff to ooze back into the bedroom I am launching a podcast. Yes the bedroom has curtains and lots of soft furnishings, even carpet so that is the new recording studio.

So let's answer all of your FAQs (no one asked any questions)

1. It launches on 11th April and will drop every Sunday. I have not decided if it will have seasonal breaks yet.
2. It is called Brew & A Biscuit and will be a combination of solo episodes and interviews.
3. The podcast will be exploring slow living, creativity, and different ways of living.
4. You can listen in all the usual places Spotify, ITunes, Google, Stitcher etc.
5. No I am not doing a sexy podcast voice that is my voice. I am partially deaf and as a result I speak without too strong of an accent because I am really aware of difficulties in hearing. On the podcast I use an app to transcribe so I am speaking in a slightly slowed down tone and with a little more annunciation but I have not gone full M&S advert.
6. Well I have been wanting to do this for a long time but got the impetus and know-how from @lucylucraft she is a podcaster, podcast tutor, producer and all round good egg.
7. Yes I know I have a blog and this space and send jolly lovely emails to folk so I can see how the assumption that I am somewhat of a narcissist can be made. Who knows perhaps I am but I think it is more that I am a chronic over sharer and this way I get to share all the lovely interviews with you also.
