Okay here we are recipe number two. This recipe is traditionally made with pork strips but I substituted it for a vegetarian alternative, Quorn steak style strips. You could substitute it for beef or lamb if you don’t eat pork.
you will need;
500g pork cut into strips
2 tbsp of base gede (that you made from this post)
3 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp tomato puree
- Place the pork strips and the base gede into a pot. Add the soy sauce.
- Add enough water to cover the meat. Simmer together for about an hour.
- When the meat is cooked and the water has boiled into a sauce stir in the tomato puree.
- Serve hot.
