This is another in my series of exciting that pregnant ladies can drink. Of course everyone can enjoy them but I am a little pregnancy focused of late – I wonder why? One of my tips for smoothies is to chop and store your fruit in the freezer. This serves two purposes. The first being you don’t forget about your fruit and let it rot in the fridge or bowl. The second purpose is a nice cold smoothie. A word of warning here, if you are like me and would love a Vitamix or a blender of similar power and kitchen prowess but don’t have hundreds to spend on one, for example my blender was €30 a far cry from the €480 for a Vitamix. My blender cannot cope with fully frozen fruit and the motor would burn out, I leave my fruit to defrost and soften a little, don’t worry it is still cold. This recipe is for 2 gasses of smoothie.
you will need;
A handful of strawberries (around 10 -12)
150g coconut milk
1/4 cup orange juice.
Do we really need to do this? Well lets. Blend and serve!
